Events at Transitions Equestrian Center

Events at Transitions Equestrian Center

Throughout the year, Transitions Equestrian Center hosts a variety of events for riders of all ages, disciplines, and experience levels. Our calendar includes sanctioned shows, fun shows, seasonal children’s camps, clinics, and educational events—all designed to promote learning, growth, and a love of horses.

Shows
We offer both rated and fun shows, giving riders opportunities to gain experience, build confidence, and enjoy competition in a supportive environment.

  • Sanctioned Shows: Formal competition where proper show attire is required. Our experienced judges provide constructive feedback, explaining why riders placed as they did and offering guidance on how to improve. This ensures every rider gains valuable insight and leaves better prepared for future events.

  •  Open Schooling Shows:
Our Open Schooling Shows, often called our “Fun Shows,” are designed to provide a relaxed and welcoming introduction to the show environment. Traditional show attire is not required, making these events perfect for beginners, young riders, or anyone looking to gain experience in a low-pressure setting. These shows offer a supportive atmosphere where riders can practice their skills, build confidence, and enjoy the experience of showing their horses.

Camps and Clinics
We offer children’s camps throughout the year, including summer camps, school break camps, and specialty-themed programs. Camps and clinics focus on horsemanship, horse care, safe handling, and riding skills, all in a hands-on and structured environment. Each program helps riders develop confidence, knowledge, and a deeper connection with their horse.

Problem-Solving Rider Camp Teen & Adult Camp Saturday, May 16, 2026

This camp is perfect for intermediate riders who want to better understand and solve common riding challenges. If you have ever felt like you are doing the right things but the same problems keep showing up, this camp will help you learn how to fix the root of the issue instead of just managing the symptoms.

Throughout the day we will work through common rider challenges such as:

• Cutting corners
• Pulling on the reins instead of riding from the leg
• Losing balance during transitions

More importantly, we will explore why these issues happen and how to correct them in a way that creates lasting improvement.

What makes this camp unique

• Riders can submit personal challenges ahead of time
• Hands-on group problem solving so riders can learn from each other
• Take-home exercises to continue improving after the camp

This camp is designed to build confidence, improve communication between horse and rider, and help riders develop practical tools they can use in everyday riding.
