Co-founders Melissa Ashcraft and Nicole Miller, with the support of Tres Bien CBD, combined their unique passions to create a line of equine wellness products that horse owners can trust.

Melissa is a Grand Prix Dressage rider who spent her early career traveling the world performing with the legendary World-Famous Lipizzaner Stallions. Throughout her career she has traveled internationally teaching and performing and is also known for her work in liberty training and trick training. Melissa has been involved in film and media work featuring both horses and dogs and today owns and operates Transitions Equestrian Center in Northwest Indiana, where she serves as head trainer, mentor, and an inspiration to riders of all levels.

Nicole’s love for horses began at just two years old with the gift of her very first pony. Growing up as a Four-H member and lifelong horse enthusiast, she never lost that childhood passion. With a professional background in biology and pharmacy, Nicole brings the science behind Bon Cheval CBD to life, combining her knowledge with Melissa’s equestrian experience to develop effective, safe, and natural products designed specifically for horses.

Together Melissa and Nicole built Bon Cheval CBD not just as a brand, but as a mission: to support horses in feeling their best, strengthen the bond between horse and rider, and help every horse thrive naturally.

Bon Cheval CBD has also gained attention and support from respected celebrity horsemen ambassadors within the equestrian community who believe in the benefits of our products. These riders, trainers, and industry professionals have seen firsthand how CBD can support equine comfort, recovery, and overall wellness.
